Living in a Big City with Small Town Feel

We currently live in Rockwall, TX, a city that is east of Dallas. It is a pretty good size city, but it still has a nice small town feel. Rockwall has a charming downtown square with cute shops and great restaurants, lots of locally/family owned restaurants all around town and locally/family owned businesses. We get our oil changed at the local Valvoline Express Care and the most darling, friendly couple own this business. Marlyn and Barbara are the owners and they seriously treat their customers like family! Ever since we moved here in June 2009 we have been going to them for our automotive needs. Since Chloe was born I take her with me every time we go there and they have LOVED seeing her and how she has changed each time we come in. They always play with her and talk to her. They genuinely care about their customers and I love that! We will be going to them for as long as we live in Rockwall!
