17 months

I know I say it all the time, but I really just can't believe that my baby is 17 months already! Time really DOES fly by! Only 1 more month till she can go into our church nursery...YAY!!!!!!!!!!

This girl is up to A LOT these days....

-Size 4 diapers
-Size 18-24 month clothes
-Eats anything and everything
-Talks up a storm and is really starting to repeat a lot of what we say, more so than ever
-Plays so well on her own
-Running around everywhere...making it hard for momma to keep up
-Had her 2nd ear infection, but this time it was a double
-Had her 2nd chest x ray and was diagnosed with bronchitis
-Had a blood test and found out that she is slightly anemic and will be on iron drops for awhile
-LOVES to wear jewelry and carry purses, bags, etc. on her arm. If it has a handle it's on her arm!
-LOVES to drag baskets around the house and fill them with things
-Very into balls and balloons
-Learning how to color
-Really good at recognizing people and pointing....when she sees me, she points at me and says, "Momma"...it's so cute
-Blowing kisses so well...she's so good at this she blows kisses to anyone that says, "bye" to her (Tom Thumb workers, cashier at Dillards, strangers in a restaurant, and the Admissions clerk at the hospital are just a few)
-She is definitely a creature of habit...after her afternoon naps she goes to the pantry, opens the door, points at the fruit snacks, and then goes and sits down in the dining room floor waiting for me to give her a package


She is really quite the little busy body! This girl is ALWAYS on the move, from one thing to the next, to the next, to the next and then back again! I think the only time she is remotely still is when she's sleeping!

Our girl has also been quite the little sickie for the past 2 months. We've been to the doctor 5 times since January 1st. She has been such a trooper through it all and is finally on the mend! This time I hope she's on the mend for SEVERAL months!!

We love her to pieces and couldn't ask for a better little girl to be a part of our family!!!!
