Bahama Mama!

Last week Ryan and I headed off to Paradise Island, Bahamas for 5 glorious days!!!! A HUGE THANK YOU goes to my mom for keeping Chloe for us!!!!!!! We had a wonderful time and can't wait to go back! We stayed at the RIU Palace all-inclusive resort!!! It was so nice to just get away from everything and just be together!! We did a whole lot of laying out, swimming, eating, and drinking yummy tropical drinks! Almost every night we were there, we went and walked around the Atlantis, which was a lot of walking! The Atlantis is just absolutely huge, very busy, and tons of people everywhere! At night our resort had live music and a show! Before walking at the Atlantis we would stay and listen for awhile! There were definitely some interesting performers! The first day we were there we went and laid out by the ocean, swam a little in the ocean and then went up to the pool. We found the perfect spot that we loved at the pool. It quickly became "our spot" the whole time we were there! The last 2 days we were there we added a umbrella to our spot and that made it all the more nice and relaxing! I definitely enjoyed just laying out and swimming as I wanted! It was amazing! We went and swam/floated in the ocean almost everyday and the water is just absolutely crystal clear!!!! One morning we walked 2 miles into downtown Nassau to do some exploring and go to the straw market. It was a very interesting place! We got Chloe a very cute Dora straw basket and the lady that made it even weaved Chloe's name on the back in straw! She was such a nice lady! We got ourselves a Christmas ornament for one of our trees and then got my mom a straw bag and ornament too! Overall we had a fabulous time and definitely look forward to going back!

Looks like lots of fun! I love that in the first picture (of Ryan after just arriving) there is a girl undressing the the background. Too funny!
