BYU vs. TCU

This past weekend Ryan's friend Scott came in town to attend the BYU/TCU fb game and we were lucky enough to be able to go with him! He is friends with a FB player on the team and gets free tickets through him! Nothing is better than free tickets that are 7 rows up from the field at Jerry's World!!!!!!!!!!!!

We took Scott to eat at Chuy's on Thursday night and he LOVED it! Good Mexican food is definitely hard to come by in Utah, so needless to say he enjoyed himself!

Let me preface this next statement by letting you all know that Ryan and Scott are BIG into the JFK assassination and all that comes with it. They've gone to the museum multiple times, visited other JFK related sites in Dallas, read numerous books including one that was about 1800 pages and the list goes on and on. Well, on Friday they decided to drive the parade route that JFK did starting at Love Field airport. I bet we can safely say they were the only ones in DFW that did that on Friday! They also went to see a few other JFK things and then stopped for lunch in the Bishops Arts District. Friday afternoon we took Chloe to Sherman so my parents could keep her overnight for us! (The FB game would be much more enjoyable without her and she's not a fan of loud noises.)

Before the game we took Scott to eat at Babe's Chicken Dinner House! We have now been there 3 times and it is quite delicious and a very "TEXAS" like restaurant to eat at! Definitely a place to try and very family friendly! Then we headed to find a parking spot and walk to the game. The cheapest off-site parking we saw was $10 and the most expensive off-site parking we saw was $40! I would hate to know what it was costing to park at the stadium! Thankfully we found a decent spot for only $20!!!

The game was okay...BYU didn't do too hot, but neither Ryan or I are BYU fans anyways so it didn't really matter to us. There is a guy that my brother played FB with in HS that plays for TCU, so that was kind of fun to see him play again!

Saturday morning we took Scott back to the airport and then enjoyed a nice, quiet breakfast together at La Madeleine's!
